"Sleep Sack" for Daughter when on Vacation
Dear NEA Scratch Pad:
Hotel sheets would make my daughter’s eczema flare and she would scratch all night long when we were on vacation. Now I have a “sleep sack” that I made for her out of a queen-size flat sheet folded over and sewn up the sides to be shaped like a sleeping bag. We bring that and a pillow case along (all washed in her safe detergents) and put them in hotel beds. She now sleeps inside the sack so she is protected on all sides from sleeping on other sheets. It is quick and easy to transport.
